Europe, of course, is further down the line into Complete Takeover by Islamomanics.

Mark Steyn has a retrospective, and sad obervations, on the current EU fate.

There are a few bright spots Steyn hasn't mentioned.

• After many years of almost complete control, and dedication to enslaving the masses, Iran is facing serious opposition, by the people. No, not those psuedo freedom fighters on the Left, actual ordinary Iranians/Persians. The telling sign that they MAY win? Money and gold are heading out the back door at terminal velocity.
• Argentina is economically stable - which, given the natural resources and hard working populace, they SHOULD be - thanks to what you might call a Leftist Austerity Policy. Milei has taken a hatchet to the embedded Leftist bureaucracy, cut most of their programs, and reaped the rewards.
• Israel is holding on, despite a sizable community of homegrown Leftists fighting them every inch of the way. Israel is lucky Trump likes them.
• The surgical operation that took out Margot and the Mrs. was a nice start. I have doubts that the trial will not be corrupted by Leftist influence, but maybe I'm wrong.

The organized and planned takeover of the USA by foreign interests - governmental, commercial, and NGOs - is coming to light.

At heart, MOST OF IT is linked to the backers, who strive to implant Rule by the Few.

Its been a long fight to keep Americans out of the hands of the Elite. In the beginning, although much of national government was,in the hands of the educated classes, the federal role was small. The bureaucracies didn't exist.

True, certain families, the Adams, the Lees of VA, and others, were elected on a regular basis.

But, because the national budget was so small, it was often more important to exert influence at the state level.

Both Lincoln and Teddy R. - both Republicans - were the catalyst for changing that tradition.

They were followed by others who MAY not have grown the Federal Government, but they failed to chop down the size and breadth of it.

Enter Woodrow Wilson, the epitome of a man who believed in Rule by the Educated Few. And, by finagling us into WWI, managed to 

EXPLODE the reach and cost of national government.

While Coolidge managed to shrink the cost, he left the structures in place that could be expanded, and were, by FDR.

In Modern Times, there are largely unsung heroes.
