SUCH a Lot of Interesting Stories!

[UPDATE]

From Rotten Chestnuts:
By the way, did you know that the collective noun for a group of liberals is “shriek”?  A murder of crows, a shriek of liberals.
I've only recently returned to town after a prolonged vacation. When I first woke up, I had all kinds of ambition to straighten out the house and bills, and re-boot my life.

That was, until I went online - just to check ONE thing.

Hours later, I've found:
  • Some leads linking HRC to Russian spies, who she VERY conveniently hustled out of town before they could be interrogated.
  • An interesting "hobby" for Nellie Ohr, Fusion employee, wife of an Obama official - Ham Radio. Check out the license details here. I am a radio operator, and know that ascertaining whether an applicant is an undercover operative for the CIA (Nellie formerly worked for them) is not something that the FCC checks out. They're strictly concerned whether the operator knows the technical specifications and rules necessary to use a radio safely, and without interfering with other electromagnetic-based spectrums.
  • Our deacon mentioned this in the homily on Transfiguration Sunday. I only found mention of it on Jihad Watch. I've noticed that these atrocities are seldom mentioned on the news. I became interested in the issue after reading "Their Blood Cries Out" - outdated by now, as new horrors arise.
The Next Day: still not back to normal, but doing better. Sometimes, I think I just need to NOT be working. Now that I'm no longer employed outside the home, I have a hard time making the transition from working to chillin' - too often, I'm OD'ing on one or the other.

I was reading in LifeHacker about people who work from home, and one point many of them made is that those who work from home have to find a way to mark that transition from work to housework/errands to off for the day. Some suggested taking a quick walk around the block for a "commute". It's an intriguing idea, and I may try it.

Are you, like me, suspicious about the motivations of Democrats on the subject of school-located shootings? Selwyn Duke thinks the Dems are nervous about their chances in the 2018 elections - they should be!

The response of the Dems to the shootings was suspicious. They were ready with the anti-gun hysteria from the git. Someone wrote that the failure of the cops and the (still-Obama) FBI is just too massive to have been honest failure. To believe this was planned and Cruz was incited is waaaayyyy out there but then, if it were planned, how would this have happened differently?

As I say, not my cup of tea, but you can't get around the fact that the failure of law enforcement was just massive and saying that it's explained by incompetence and/or political correctness is, shall we say, unsatisfactory.

I love the comment to the effect the gun grabbers want to take guns from citizens so they'll sanely rely on government to protect them from such horrors. But that's what the cry babies and the press are selling.

Lies of the Left

This COULD be a lengthy post. But, I'll try to winnow it down to a reasonable length. The CA Parent Bribery 'Scandal' - the 1...
