What's Arabic for "Chutzpah?"

In Glasgow, Scotland, a Catholic school is being pressured to be - well - more inclusive in its faith practices.
AN ISLAMIC campaign group has called for a Catholic primary school to be based on the Muslim faith.

The Campaign for Muslim Schools said 90 per cent of pupils at St Albert's Primary, in the Pollokshields area of Glasgow, are Muslim, yet children are having to take part in Catholic rituals like saying the Lord's Prayer and attending mass.

Osama Saeed, co-ordinator of the alliance of Glasgow's main mosques and Muslim organisations, said he could see no reason why the main faith of the school should not change.
I can, you peckerwood. Because the Catholics paid for it! (Gee, that reminds me of that moment when Reagan said "I paid for this microphone...")

He continues, saying
surely it should be possible for them to have one that is relevant to their own faith.
Sure, it's possible. Not a problem.

BUILD YOUR OWN SCHOOL, CHEAPSKATE!

But why did this Catholic school accept all these Muslim students in the first place? Were they somehow compelled to do so? If not, it shows shockingly bad judgment and a crass disrespect for the Catholic families it was supposed to serve.

That may be true, Fran, but in the immortal words of Mel Brooks, you do not take a seat in a brothel and then complain that the place is not a Howard Johnson. If you are not Catholic and you go to a Catholic school, one of the things you are obliged to put up with is Catholicism. There was no bait and switch involved here; this is just the ummah exercising their belief that what's ours is ours and what's yours is ours, too, and the sooner you convert the better off you'll be. It's so much easier this way than to do what the Catholics did, which is build their own schools when they didnt like what the public schools were teaching their kids.
