Fortunately, I'm a reasonable person. When the tech answered, I didn't bite his head off.
However, I ended up spending over 40 minutes waiting in on-hold hiatus. Somebody is going to pay for that. Somehow.
Oh, BTW, my DSL won't be repaired before Monday evening. Or, as I was told, Embarq was "committed" to repairing it by then. When I pressed the rep as to the likelihood of the repair guys coming in the next few hours, before the Sunday shut-down (VERY few businesses in the Bible Belt work on Sunday), he just repeated his "committment".
Be back on Monday evening.
