Poem of a Marine
I found this poem thanks to my dear Mischa, of the Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler . Now, I'm not much of a poetry person (my tastes are more for raunchy limericks), but this is beautiful. At the end is a picture I've grown very fond of. It represents the Person in Uniform, Tired, but Ever Watchful Over Us. Another poem, from a long-dead author, that I've always liked. TOMMY I went into a public-'ouse to get a pint o' beer, The publican 'e up an' sez, "We serve no red-coats here."
