OK, I know the more hardware-savvy will laugh condescendingly at this, but... I finally figured out why my wireless was toast. I had accidentally toggled the function key that turned it on and off. I finally figured this out after days of consulting on the phone with my favorite hardware guru (my dear son-in-law). Yeah. It's the OR.
