The Sloth of Walden

The peaceful, mindful lifestyle of Thoreau lives on in the dreams of many Liberals. The hard work of making a living from the soil is bypassed, and glamorized in the essay "On Walden Pond". The FACTS of Thoreau's stay in that cabin are conveniently forgotten.
