It's Not the Size of the Dog in the Fight...

it's the size of the fight in the dog. Or, in this case, 3 Chihuahuas, who should be named Bravest Dogs of the Year. There's a lesson here for small countries, I think.

Pound for pound chihuahuas are the toughest dogs around. One the size of a doberman would be seriously scary. My own little half chihuahua dachshund mix chased a bear away from her food in Yellowstone. When dad finally dared peek out the tent to see what all the barking was about he could see a large bear lumbering down the road with the dog nipping at its heels. Every once in a while it would try to take a swipe at her but would soon give up and continue on its way. She has also faced down and drove off our yard several dogs, German Shepherds and such were several times her size that dared to invade our yard. I'm not surprised that three of them would face down a mountain lion.
