I can't say that I like this amendment - it releases companies from responsibility for what their subcontractors do - if they use illegal immigrants, the contracting company is not liable. It allows companies to bypass immigration laws, and claim they don't know what their subcontractors are doing.
Yeah, right.
Expect to see more attempts to bring in illegals, and immunize employers from the legal consequences.
I'm against this - if you break the law, throw your scheming butt in jail.
